CARE FOR YOUR MOSSGIFT cube

While technically your MOSSGIFT can survive untouched and without maintenance for years, there are a few best practices and tips we recommend.

VENT - Removing the lid for a few seconds 1-2 times a week will help gas exchange, topping off oxygen for springtails and replenishing C02 for optimal moss growth.

FEED - While the springtails contained can live off biofilm and detritus within your MOSSGIFT, they thrive best & will reproduce easiest with added protein.  This is easily achieved with a pin-head sized pinch of flake fish food 2-3 times a week.

MIST - If your moss ever looks dry give it a mist with bottled water.  Depending on the environment it's being placed, your MOSSGIFT may need to be misted 1-2 times a year.  Simply mist the top of the substrate for 2-3 second, let it sit for a few minutes, then flip the lid upside down and place on top leaving a small crack (your using the top of the lid to hold in the substrate), flip MOSSGIFT upside down and drain out excess water.
